[12-30-2024] Sacramento County, CA – Woman Sustains Major Injuries After Hit-And-Run Crash at Fruitridge Road and Dewey Boulevard

A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Fruitridge Road and Dewey Boulevard in South Sacramento on Monday afternoon, December 30, 2024.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred around 5:45 p.m. when a vehicle struck a woman at the intersection. Emergency crews transported the woman to a local hospital, where she was treated for major injuries.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene, and no description of the suspect has been released.
