![[12-31-2024] Two Killed, Two Others Injured Following Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 Near County Road 68](https://ak1.to//cgJ.webp)
Two people were killed, and two others were injured in a two-pickup-truck crash on Interstate 5 near County Road 68 in Glenn County on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2024.
The collision occurred just after 8:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-5, roughly midway between Willows and Maxwell.
A man and a woman were pronounced dead at the scene, while another man and woman were transported to Enloe Health for treatment of their injuries.
The southbound lanes were closed for approximately three hours as authorities worked at the scene and reopened shortly before midnight.
The names of the victims have not been released pending notification of their families. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
