[12-25-2024] Several Injured After Two-Vehicle Collision at Mountain Avenue and Philadelphia Street in OntarioA two-vehicle collision in Ontario left several individuals injured, with one vehicle catching fire and another trapping a person inside early Wednesday morning, December 25, 2024, 

The crash occurred just after 4:00 a.m. at the intersection of South Mountain Avenue and West Philadelphia Street. 

Ontario police officers and firefighters arrived at the scene to find one vehicle on the sidewalk with a person trapped inside and another vehicle on fire.

Emergency responders transported three to four individuals to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries remains unknown. Firefighters successfully extinguished the vehicle fire, and crews worked to extricate the trapped individual.

Authorities have not determined whether speed or alcohol played a role in the crash. The Ontario Police Department is investigating the incident.
