Two people were injured following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Downey Street and Limonite Avenue in Jurupa Valley on Monday morning, December 23, 2024.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the crash occurred just after 10:00 a.m., prompting multiple engine crews to respond. One motorist was trapped in their vehicle and required extrication by firefighters.
Both drivers were transported to Riverside Community Hospital with minor injuries. Their identities have not been disclosed.
The intersection was partially blocked until noon as emergency crews cleared the wreckage and investigators assessed the scene.
The cause of the collision is under investigation by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. Further details have not yet been released.
