A 31-year-old motorcyclist identified as Derek M. of San Diego was killed in a crash involving a big rig, in Moreno Valley, on Saturday afternoon, December 14, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on eastbound State Route 60, just east of Day Street.
During the investigation, traffic on the freeway was severely impacted as CHP Riverside officers worked to clear the scene.
Further details about the cause of the crash have not yet been released. The CHP is continuing to investigate the fatal crash.
