A 60-year-old woman was fatally struck by a vehicle while walking on Murrieta Hot Springs Road in Murrieta on Wednesday evening, November 27, 2024.
According to the Murrieta Police Department, Debbie A. of Murrieta was hit just before 6:30 p.m. near Calle Del Lago. Despite life-saving efforts by paramedics, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver who struck her remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Police reported that the driver did not show any signs of impairment.
The investigation is ongoing.
