At least one person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on eastbound Highway 4 in Pittsburg early Friday morning, November 29, 2024.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the collision occurred around 5:10 a.m. near the Railroad Avenue off-ramp and involved four vehicles.
All eastbound lanes of Highway 4 were closed following the crash, with traffic being redirected to the Bailey Road off-ramp.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes as there is no estimated time for the full reopening of the freeway.
The CHP is continuing to investigate the incident.
