A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in Lancaster on Wednesday evening, November 27, 2024.
The collision occurred around 7:08 p.m. at the intersection of 70th Street East and East Avenue I. California Highway Patrol officers were contacted by the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station regarding the incident.
Upon arriving at the scene, CHP officers found the victim lying in the roadway. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision. Additional information, including the identity of the victim, has not yet been released.
