One person was airlifted to a trauma center with a significant ankle injury following a two-vehicle crash near The Heritage School in Phelan, San Bernardino County, on Wednesday morning, November 13, 2024.
The collision occurred at approximately 7:13 a.m. at the intersection of Wilson Ranch Road and Phelan Road.
Emergency responders arrived to find a green Toyota Camry and a silver Honda Accord, both with extensive damage. Firefighters assessed the situation and discovered two patients at the crash site. Officials called for a medical helicopter to airlift the injured to an out-of-area trauma center.
The California Highway Patrol’s Victorville station is investigating the cause of the crash.
