Multiple lanes on the I-10 were shut down Monday following a collision between two trucks in Indio on November 11, 2024.
The crash occurred at approximately 2:10 p.m., west of Jefferson Boulevard, when a black truck attempting to merge was T-boned by a big rig, according to California Highway Patrol records.
Officials said that the collision caused “major damage” to the black truck. Both the No. 2 and No. 3 lanes were blocked as a result of the crash.
Information regarding the injury status of the drivers was not immediately available. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
