A homeless woman in a wheelchair was killed after a hit-and-run incident in Southeast Fresno on Saturday night, November 9, 2024.
Fresno Police responded to a call around 5:30 p.m. about a woman lying in the street in the northbound lanes of Clovis Avenue and Inyo Streets.
The woman, believed to be in her 40s, had sustained severe head injuries. She was taken to Community Regional Medical Center by ambulance but was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police have not received any information that could help identify the driver involved in the hit-and-run. The investigation is ongoing.
