A man was trapped inside a van and later hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday morning, November 10, 2024.
The crash occurred shortly after 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Alameda and 7th Streets. Upon arrival, emergency crews found a black sedan and a gray van just south of the intersection.
The male driver of the van required extrication from the wreckage and was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics.
The occupants of the black sedan were treated at the scene and released.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
