Four individuals were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision on southbound Highway 101 along the Gaviota Coast, Santa Barbara County, on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the crash involved a white Toyota Camry, which overturned and came to rest on its roof in the center median, and at least four other vehicles.
Santa Barbara County Fire Department’s Capt. Sam Ferguson confirmed that all four patients sustained minor injuries and were transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. Their identities and further condition details were not released.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
