A motorcyclist identified as 46-year-old John K. suffered life-threatening injuries following a collision involving a vehicle on Greenstone Road in El Dorado County on Monday evening, October 7, 2024.
The California Highway Patrol reported that at approximately 6:50 p.m., the rider collided with a Toyota Corolla on Greenstone Road. He sustained severe injuries, including a fractured pelvis, a compound arm fracture, and an arterial bleed.
Responders from the El Dorado County Fire Protection District arrived quickly, and due to the critical nature of Kelsey’s injuries, a CHP helicopter (H-24) was dispatched to transport him to a local hospital for immediate care.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. CHP officials urge witnesses or those with information to contact their office.
