[10-05-2024] Motorcyclist Injured After Collision with Sedan on Pacific Coast Highway Amid Huntington Beach RallyA motorcyclist sustained moderate injuries in a collision with a sedan on Pacific Coast Highway near Main Street in Huntington Beach on Saturday afternoon, October 5, 2024.

According to Huntington Beach Police Department spokeswoman Jessica Cuchilla, the crash occurred around 2:00 p.m. 

Video footage posted on social media captured a group of bikers revving engines at the intersection, where a crowd of Trump supporters waved flags and spilled partially into the roadway.

The motorcyclist, whose identity has not been disclosed, was seen popping a wheelie before accelerating, leading to a collision with a sedan slowing down in front of him. Emergency responders transported the motorcyclist to a local hospital with moderate injuries. No one in the sedan was reported injured.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
