A child is fighting for his life after a car collided with a tree in Sacramento on Sunday afternoon, September 29, 2024.
The crash occurred just before 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of Carlson Drive and J Street, near Sacramento State.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the child sustained life-threatening injuries, while two other passengers, both men, were injured but are expected to survive.
Police confirmed that the child was in a car seat at the time of the crash, and they are continuing their investigation into the cause.
