A man was fatally injured in a hit-and-run crash on the Arroyo Seco Parkway near Highland Park, Los Angeles, on early Saturday morning, September 21, 2024.
California Highway Patrol officers were dispatched to the southbound parkway near the Avenue 43 exit at approximately 1:28 a.m., where they found the victim lying in one of the lanes, according to CHP Officer Sean Lough.
Preliminary investigation determined the collision was a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian and an unknown vehicle. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on scene.”
