Two people were critically injured and trapped inside their vehicle after crashing into a traffic signal pole in El Sereno, Los Angeles, on Tuesday morning, September 10, 2024.
The crash occurred shortly after 1:00 a.m. at the intersection of Valley Boulevard and Del Paso Avenue.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel and officers with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollenbeck Division responded to the scene.
Upon arrival, first responders found a blue Honda Fit wedged against the traffic signal pole with two patients trapped inside. Firefighters successfully extricated both individuals, who were then transported to the hospital in critical condition.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. There is no additional information available at this time.
