Injuries are still being investigated after a multi-vehicle crash on the eastbound Ventura (134) Freeway just west of Pasadena on early Sunday morning, September 1, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 1:49 a.m. and involved at least five vehicles, including a gray Ford and a white sedan.
Officers arriving at the scene found one vehicle facing westbound in the middle lanes, creating a hazardous situation for oncoming traffic. Debris was scattered across all lanes, and smoke was observed coming from one of the vehicles.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation, and details about potential injuries have not been released at this time.
