A motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries after colliding with a vehicle in midtown Sacramento on Sunday, August 25, 2024.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the crash occurred just before noon at the intersection of 24th and J streets.
The motorcycle rider, identified as 55-year-old Jose Louis S. of Sacramento, was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he was later pronounced dead.
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has indicated that the crash may be criminal in nature, but no arrests have been announced at this time. The condition of the driver involved is currently unknown, and an investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
