A 57-year-old woman was struck and severely injured after a hit-and-run collision in San Diego’s Webster neighborhood on Thursday morning, August 29, 2024.
San Diego Police Department officials reported that the victim was crossing Federal Boulevard to the north at Euclid Avenue in a marked crosswalk when a vehicle struck her shortly after 6:00 a.m.
The driver fled the scene, leaving the woman with life-threatening injuries, including a pelvic fracture and a brain bleed. Descriptions of the vehicle and the driver were not immediately available.
The SDPD Traffic Division is investigating the incident. There is no additional information immediately available.
