Two people were hospitalized after a three-vehicle hit-and-run crash in Los Angeles on Monday night, August 26, 2024.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the crash occurred around 11:38 p.m. at the intersection of South Main Street and East 59th Place in the Florence neighborhood.
LAFD personnel arrived at the scene and discovered one victim pinned inside a vehicle. The victim was successfully extricated within five minutes.
A light pole was damaged in the collision, and debris was scattered throughout the scene. Two victims were transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. The occupants of one or more of the vehicles involved fled the scene.
