A female pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in San Jose on Sunday night, August 18, 2024.
According to the San Jose Police Department, the incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the area of Snell Avenue and Capitol Expressway.
Officers arrived at the scene and found the woman who had been hit by a vehicle. She was transported to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased.
The driver remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigation, police said.
