According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported around 11:41 a.m. on the southbound Highway 99 connector to northbound Interstate 5.

The car collision involved at least two vehicles. Officials released no further details regarding the cause of the accident. It is unclear how many people were involved and what the make or model of the crashed cars was.
