[07-28-2024] San Bernardino County, CA – Three People Killed After Fiery Single-Vehicle Crash in Rialto

Three people were killed after a fiery single-vehicle crash in Rialto early Sunday morning, July 28, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal collision happened around 2:35 a.m. on the westbound 210 Freeway near North Pepper Avenue.

Authorities stated that a vehicle was traveling in the right-most lane when, for unknown reasons, it crossed over into the far left lane, veered right again, and left the road. Upon arrival, the responding officials found the vehicle engulfed in flames.

An 18-year-old man and two women, ages 19 and 57, from Victorville, were thrown from the vehicle due to the impact of the crash. All of them were pronounced dead at the scene. It is unclear which of the victims was driving the car at the time of the crash.

It remains unknown if speeding or driver impairment caused the collision. No further information was released.

The investigation continues.
