One person was killed following a minivan vs. motorcycle crash in Inverness, Marin County, on Sunday afternoon, July 7, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal accident occurred around 2:15 p.m. at the Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Pierce Point Road intersection northwest of Inverness.
How the collision happened, and the total number of people involved were not disclosed. CHP reported that one person was declared dead at the scene. Additional information about the identity of the deceased, including their name, age, and gender, was not available at this time.
Due to the serious crash, Pierce Point Road and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard are closed to entry and exit until further notice.
