INJURED IN AN ACCIDENT?

[07-01-2024] Sacramento County, CA – At Least One Person Injured Following Two-Vehicle Crash in North Highlands

At least one person was injured following a two-vehicle crash in North Highlands, Sacramento County, on Monday night, July 1, 2024. 

According to the responding officers, the collision happened around 9:40 p.m. at the intersection of Watt Avenue and Elkhorn Boulevard. 

Authorities stated that the collision involved two vehicles. No information yet exists on how the collision occurred, but the police confirmed that at least one person sustained injuries. The extent of the injuries and the victim’s present condition were not immediately known. 

As of this writing, it is unclear if anyone else was injured. Drugs, alcohol, and speeding were being investigated as possible factors in the collision. 

Police advised the public to expect slow traffic near the intersection as the crash was reportedly blocking the lanes. 

The authorities have yet to release further information. Witnesses are encouraged to call the investigators and help determine the circumstances surrounding the crash. 

Investigations are ongoing.
