[06-15-2024] Two People Injured Following Multi-Vehicle Collision on Barstow Avenue and Fourth StreetTwo people were injured following a multi-vehicle collision in Fresno on Saturday afternoon, June 15, 2024. 

According to the responding officers, the crash happened just before 2:00 p.m. on Barstow Avenue and Fourth Street. 

Authorities stated that the multi-vehicle crash involved three unspecified cars. The driver of one of the vehicles was heading on Fourth Street when they failed to yield to two cars traveling east on Barstow, resulting in the collision. One of the scars crashed into a building at the Wesley United Methodist Church, but nobody was injured. 

Police said that the two drivers sustained injuries. Meanwhile, the third driver walked away without any injuries. Details on the condition of the injured drivers were not released. It is unknown what caused the collision or whether alcohol or drugs played a role. 

Further information has yet to be disclosed by the authorities. Investigations are ongoing. 

Witnesses are asked to contact the police and assist with the investigation to determine the circumstances leading up to the incident.
