INJURED IN AN ACCIDENT?

[06-1-2024] Los Angeles County, CA – One Person Killed, Another Injured Following Fiery Three-Vehicle Collision on 14 Freeway

One person was killed, and another was injured following a fiery three-vehicle collision near Agua Dulce, Los Angeles County, on early Friday morning, June 14, 2024. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened at around 1:21 a.m. on the northbound 14 freeway and the Escondido Canyon Road off-ramp.

Authorities stated that one of the vehicles involved crashed into the back of a tow truck. Upon the arrival of the police, an occupant of the vehicle was found underneath the truck and pronounced dead at the scene. The name, age, and gender of the deceased were not immediately known as of writing. 

Another person was reportedly injured following the incident. They were transported to the hospital in unknown condition for immediate medical care. It is unclear whether that person is the driver or the passenger of one of the involved vehicles. 

All lanes of the northbound freeway were closed for several hours while the responding officials conducted further investigations. 

Additional details on the incident have yet to be released by the authorities. Police work is underway.
