A male pedestrian was hospitalized after getting hit by a vehicle in Santa Clarita on Friday morning, June 7, 2024.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the traffic incident happened at about 11:09 a.m. in the Canyon Country neighborhood at the 16300 block of Lost Canyon Road.
Little is known about the collision at this time. How the vehicle struck the pedestrian and what he was doing on the roadway at the time of the incident remain unclear.
The authorities confirmed that the victim, whose name, age, and origin were not immediately available, suffered injuries as a result of the crash. He was transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital for further medical care.
