Two people were hospitalized following a fiery two-vehicle crash in Sacramento County on Saturday afternoon, June 8, 2024.
According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, the incident occurred near Jackson Road and Eagles Nest Road, not far from Sunrise Boulevard.
The circumstances behind the vehicular collision remain unclear, but officials confirmed that it led to a grass fire that burned about two acres. Pictures taken from the crash site showed at least one of the vehicles involved completely burnt. Firefighters were quick to put out the fire, mitigating further damages.
