[05-29-2024] One Person Killed Following Pedestrian Vs. Vehicle Hit-And-Run Crash in MenifeeOne person was killed following a pedestrian vs. vehicle hit-and-run crash in Menifee on Wednesday night, May 29, 2024.

According to the Menifee Police Department, the fatal accident happened just after 10:00 p.m. in the 28700 block of Bradley Road, near Yorba Linda Court.

MPD said that the victim was jogging that night along the east shoulder of northbound Bradley Road, with traffic coming from behind him. The still-unnamed victim was then struck by a vehicle at an unconfirmed speed, fatally injuring him.

It is said that the driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian did not even try to stop and check the scene before speeding away. Witnesses were the ones who called 911 to report the deadly crash.

Initial investigations suggested that the suspect vehicle may be a 2021-2023 Hyundai Elantra.

Anyone with information pertaining to the location of the suspect vehicle or anything that may help with the ongoing investigation is asked to contact the authorities at 951-723-1690.
