One person was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle rear-end crash north of Galt on Wednesday morning, May 29, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the traffic collision happened at about 6:16 a.m. near the Highway 99 offramp for Arno Road.
CHP reported that the incident involved at least two vehicles, and it left debris littered along the roadway.
It is said that one man was transported to a nearby hospital for minor injuries after his car rear-ended the car in front of him at about 50 mph. The authorities have yet to identify the injured individual.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation. CHP is still gathering all the necessary details to determine the factors leading up to it.
