[05-26-2024] Woman Injured After Being Struck By Hit-And-Run Vehicle Near Millbrae AvenueA woman was injured after being struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in Millbrae on Sunday morning, May 26, 2024. 

According to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office, the collision happened around 5:40 a.m. near Millbrae Avenue and El Camino Real. 

Authorities stated that a woman was struck by a vehicle driven by a 32-year-old driver, identified as Nathan T. The driver did not render aid to the victim and fled the scene.

Police said that the victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for immediate treatment. Details on the identity of the victim, including name, age, and place of origin, were not immediately available. 

Automated license plate reader technology was used to search for the suspect. Nathan T. was booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility for felony hit-and-run.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. No further information was released by the authorities. Investigations are ongoing.
