Two people were killed after a single-vehicle crash in Wildomar on early Monday morning, May 27, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 12:36 a.m. on the southbound Temecula Valley (15) Freeway just north of Bundy Canyon Road.
Authorities stated that a vehicle collided with a center divider and burst into flames. Two people were ejected from a vehicle, and both of them were pronounced dead at the scene. A witness told the responding officials that the vehicle was driving recklessly prior to the collision.
The cause of the crash remains unclear. It is unknown whether drugs or alcohol contributed to the fatal incident. Details on the identities of the victims were not yet disclosed.
