According to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, the deadly accident happened just before 4:30 p.m. at the Shields Avenue and Valentine Avenue intersection.

FCSO said that their deputies tried making a traffic stop on a motorcycle with two riders on board near the McKinley Avenue and Feland Avenue intersection. Instead of yielding, the riders reportedly fled at a high rate of speed, initiating a high-speed chase.

FCSO later confirmed that the male rider who died had an active arrest warrant on file for traffic-related offenses.

None of the involved individuals were named as of yet. Additional information was not immediately available.

What A Lawyer Can Do For You

Many victims put off calling a lawyer even if they sustain injuries after an accident. However, lawyers can help you in many ways. They can provide you with police reports, CCTV footage, and witness statements to strengthen your case. Your attorney will also negotiate with insurance companies to get you fair compensation. The best part is that they will do all of these things for you at no upfront cost. So if you’re injured in an accident, hire a personal injury attorney to recover medical bills, car repair costs, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
