According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 9:25 p.m. on Rocket Circle near Folsom Boulevard.
Authorities stated that the pedestrian sustained major injuries after being struck by a vehicle. At this time, it is unknown how the crash occurred as well as the extent of injuries the victim sustained.
