Possible injuries were reported following a tractor-trailer vs. car collision in Eastvale on Tuesday afternoon, May 14, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 3:00 p.m. on the southbound I-15 transition to the westbound Pomona (60) Freeway.
Authorities stated that the crash involved a big rig and a Mini Cooper, trapping at least two people inside the smaller vehicle. The two vehicles collided in the fast lane of the connector bridge, crunching the sedan and preventing its occupants from freeing themselves.
It is unknown what caused the collision. The emergency workers were able to extricate the victims safely.
Further information has yet to be released by the responding officials. The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
