[05-08-2024] Man Killed Following Motorcycle Vs. Vehicle Collision Along Hacienda Boulevard in California City A man was killed following a motorcycle vs. vehicle collision in California City on Wednesday afternoon, May 8, 2024. 

According to the California City Police Department, the collision happened around 1:19 p.m. at the intersection of Hacienda Boulevard near California City Boulevard. 

Authorities stated that the motorcyclist, identified only as a man, was riding his motorcycle heading east on California City Boulevard, entering the intersection of Hacienda Boulevard. 

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle was traveling west on California City Boulevard. The car approached the left turn pocket and did a left-hand turn to head south on Hacienda Boulevard. At that moment, the motorbike collided with the passenger side of the vehicle. 

Police said they found the man lying on the ground, bleeding profusely. Paramedics performed life-saving measures on the man, but he later died at the scene. The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed.

The driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. Anyone with information regarding the incident is encouraged to come forward and contact the California City Police Department at (760) 373-8606.
