A pedestrian was reportedly injured after being struck by a vehicle in Sacramento on Wednesday afternoon, May 8, 2024.
According to the authorities, the pedestrian vs. vehicle crash happened at about 3:45 p.m. at the intersection of Fruitridge Road and Stockton Boulevard.
Emergency personnel said that the pedestrian sustained some injuries as a result of the crash, but none of them appeared to be life-threatening. The identity of the victim was not disclosed as of yet.
The eastbound lanes of Fruitridge Road, east of the intersection, were blocked as a precaution.
