[04-27-2024] One Person Killed, Three Others Injured After Fiery Two-Vehicle Crash Along Obama BoulevardOne person was killed, while three others were injured after a fiery two-vehicle crash in Los Angeles early Saturday morning, April 27, 2024.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the deadly traffic collision happened at about 2:55 a.m. around the intersection of Obama Boulevard and Sixth Avenue.

LAFD said that one of the vehicles involved sheared a fire hydrant following the initial crash before slamming into a nearby house. It then reportedly caught fire, adding more hazards to everyone involved and to those within the immediate area.

One person was declared dead at the scene. The deceased person’s name, gender, or age were not disclosed yet. 

Meanwhile, two women, 30 and 19, and a man, 18, were transported to a regional trauma center for further medical care. The extent of their injuries and identities were not immediately available as well.

The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
