A scooter rider was critically injured following a hit-and-run crash in San Francisco early Sunday morning, April 21, 2024.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, the accident happened at about 2:55 a.m. around Guerrero Street and Duboce Avenue.
The victim, Jesus Z., a baker at Bob’s Donuts, was traveling to work on his electric scooter when a car struck him at the intersection before immediately fleeing the scene. The father of two children reportedly sustained critical injuries and was taken to the hospital, where he still had not woken up as of Monday afternoon, April 22, 2024.
