[04-23-2024] Los Angeles County, CA – Four Teenagers Hospitalized Following Single-Vehicle Crash Near Boyle Heights

Four teenagers were hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash near Boyle Heights, Los Angeles, on Tuesday evening, April 23, 2024.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the incident occurred around 9:54 p.m. on the Calzona Street off-ramp of the northbound Santa Ana Freeway.

Reports indicate that a short pursuit took place when a juvenile motorist refused to pull over and continued driving before slamming into a cinder block wall.

The impact caused four juveniles, ages 12 to 14 years old, to be trapped inside the vehicle. After being extricated, the victims were transported to a hospital.

The authorities have not released further information about the crash.
