A male pedestrian was killed following a hit-and-run crash in Oakland early Monday morning, April 8, 2024.

According to the authorities, the fatal incident occurred around 12:48 a.m. between 75th Avenue and San Leandro Street.

Reports indicate that the victim was found unresponsive and suffered major injuries, including a severed leg. He was declared dead at the scene.

The man’s injuries showed that he was hit by a vehicle, but the driver was nowhere to be found.
