[04-07-2024] Fresno County, CA – 20-Year-Old Driver Killed, Three Others Injured After Reckless Multi-Vehicle Crash Near Woodward Park

A 20-year-old driver was killed, and three others were injured after a reckless multi-vehicle crash near Woodward Park in Fresno on Sunday evening, April 7, 2024.

According to the Fresno Police Department, the fatal incident occurred around 9:20 p.m. between Audubon Drive and Friant Road.

A small, four-door vehicle failed to stop at a red light and slammed into an SUV before hitting three other vehicles that were waiting at the traffic light.

The reckless driver, identified as Huy Nguyen T., was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Three victims complained of pain, but it is unknown if they were hospitalized or not.

The authorities have not determined whether alcohol or drugs were a factor in the fatal crash.
