[04-04-2024] Riverside County, CA – One Person Killed, Four Others Hospitalized Following Multi-Vehicle Collision in San Jacinto

One person was killed, and four others were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision in San Jacinto on Thursday morning, April 4, 2024.

According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the fatal incident occurred at about 7:40 a.m. between San Jacinto Avenue and Ramona Expressway.

Reports indicate that five vehicles were found at the scene, along with two victims needing extrication.  

One patient was declared dead at the scene. Two others suffered serious injuries, while another two sustained minor injuries.

All four victims were immediately transported to a hospital. Three others were evaluated at the scene, but they declined additional medical care.

The authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the fatal collision.
