[03-29-2024] Los Angeles County, CA – Male Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by Vehicle in Pomona

A male pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Pomona early Friday morning, March 29, 2024.

According to the Pomona Police Department, the traffic collision occurred at about 5:40 a.m. around the Towne Avenue and Bonita Avenue intersection.

Upon arrival, officers found the male pedestrian down in the roadway. After receiving on-scene life-saving measures, he was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the vehicle reportedly remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. PPD believes that driver intoxication is not a factor in the crash.
