[03-27-2024] Driver Killed, Another Hospitalized Following Multi-Vehicle Collision in ClovisA driver was killed, and another was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision in Clovis on Wednesday afternoon, March 27, 2024.

According to the Clovis Police Department, the fatal incident occurred at about 2:14 p.m. at the intersection of Herndon Ave. and Helm Ave., near the Clovis Commons shopping area.

A driver lost control in the eastbound lane and crossed the center divider before colliding with two vehicles traveling in the westbound lane.

Police confirmed that the driver who lost control was declared dead at the scene, while another driver was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries. The two occupants of the third vehicle did not sustain any visible injuries.

The authorities have not released further information about the fatal collision.
