[03-28-2024] At Least One Person Killed Following Two-Vehicle Collision At Elm Ave and Conejo Ave At least one person was killed following a two-vehicle collision in Fresno on Thursday afternoon, March 28, 2024. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 1:09 p.m. at the intersection of S Elm Ave and E Conejo Ave. 

Authorities stated that a green Pontiac vehicle ran a stop sign and collided with a white Ford pickup truck. The force of the collision was severe, resulting in the fatality of one individual and significant damage to infrastructure.

Police confirmed that there were no hazards or obstructions on the road during the collision. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were dispatched to the scene and attended to the injured. 

Further details have yet to be released by the authorities.
