[03-27-2024] Los Angeles County, CA – Two People Hospitalized Following Suspected DUI Collision Involving Bus in Downtown LA

Two people were hospitalized following a suspected DUI collision involving a Metro bus in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday morning, March 27, 2024.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened at about 1:43 a.m. around the Alameda Street and 6th Street intersection.

[03-27-2024] Two People Hospitalized Following Suspected DUI Collision Involving Bus in Downtown LAUpon arrival, officers found a white sedan with significant front damage that had crashed into the left side of a Metro bus. The respective drivers of the vehicles involved were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their identities and the extent of their injuries were undisclosed at this time.

Police believe that the sedan driver was driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs when the accident occurred.

Further details were not immediately available. The LAPD is still investigating.
